Eric Stringer

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Eric Stringer on the 10th March, at the age of 86. Eric will be reunited with his darling wife Alma. Eric was a cherished father to Pauline, Alison and Denise.  Eric was a much loved grandfather.  His absence leaves an irreplaceable void, and he will be dearly missed.

Eric's warm presence, humour and boundless love touched the lives of all who had the privelage of knowing him. Leaving an indelible mark on his family and friends.  A true gentleman, he held an unwavering love for his family. The memory of Eric's love will endure in our hearts.

A service to celebrate Eric's life will be held at Widnes Crematorium on Friday 5th April, at 10am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations for the benefit of Dementia UK, a charity that held special significance for Eric.

A reception will be held immediatley after the funeral at the Hillcrest Hotel Widnes.
